Are you ready for your adventure?
Our five day Moab camp is for the intermediate/advanced rider. This Adventure Camp contains some very difficult riding on narrow, steep rocky trails. A degree of skill and fitness is required to enjoyably navigate much of the route. We will be without vehicle support during all of the singletrack sections of the ride, and medical help is far away. Is this kind of riding for you?
An intermediate/advanced rider may say some of the following:
- I love challenging singletrack, the kind that provokes extreme elation, especially when you're done.
- I enjoy epic hard rides of three to five hours long.
- I want to learn the advanced skills that I’m too afraid to try by myself.
- I love the adrenalin rush you get from trying something extremely challenging.
- I want to learn how to drop off a three foot ledge!
- I'm training for the Tour de France!
You can expect the following in Moab:
- Riding surface: Variable. Single and double track trail, slickrock, and rocky trail.
- Technical difficulty: Moderate to difficult, many obstacles and tricky sections. Ledges, rough rocky descents, and some exposure.
- Physical difficulty: Moderate to strenuous, steep climbs, long unsupported sections.
- Altitude: 4,000 to 7,000 feet
